In order to prepare for next year, a task with given to film a music video at Knebworth House. I was in a group with Beth, Ellie and Mollie. We chose the song 'Heatwave' by Wiley as the song has a summertime theme which suited the outside garden setting during the summer season.
The shots filmed included lip synching shots and some shots with dance choreography. We were happy with a particular framing of a shot where I am central to Knebworth House and in between two trees.
As we were only allowed an hour at the Knebworth House and an hour at Knebworth Park, we had to keep to a time schedule which would be similar in the real media world. I feel my group coped with this well. However, we did not plan enough differentiating shots to make the music video more creative and exciting and more appealing to an audience, therefore the music video was cut short to 1 minute 30. This really highlighted to me how important it is to make shotlists or storyboards.
